Octa fabric is composed of two types of fibers: polyester wool-like fibers and polyester hollow octopus-leg-shaped fibers.
We have replaced 53.6% of the wool yarn with recycled polyester (ECOPET) to reduce our environmental impact.
46.4% consists of standard polyester hollow octopus-leg yarn.
By using this recycled material instead of virgin polyester OctaCPCP, CO2* emissions during fabric production are reduced by 23%.

・What is OctaCPCP?
OctaCPCP is a mesh fleece fabric that integrates hollow polyester brushed fibers with irregular cross-sections—which serve as insulation—into the outer mesh layer.
This polyester fabric is known for its lightness, warmth, and excellent heat dissipation.
Although it is typically used as a lining, STATIC has adopted it as a standalone fleece.

■Material Characteristics
・Lightweight: Approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter
・Moisture-wicking and quick-drying: Approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter
・Heat insulation: The dead air trapped within the spaces created by the hollow sections and eight protrusions provides heat insulation.

■Environmental
・Starting in Fall/Winter 2023, we became the first in the industry to use 53% recycled materials
・By using recycled materials, CO2 emissions during fabric production are reduced by 23% compared to OctaCPCP made from virgin polyester
・We use fabric produced at OEKO-TEX-certified factories in Japan
・While the yarn itself is made from 100% non-recycled polyester, the dyeing process uses biomass (plant-based) rather than petroleum, and the fiber waste generated during fabric production is recycled.
・We also use eco-friendly labels
・Size tag: 100% recycled polyester made from plastic bottles
・Care label: 100% cotton lawn
・Brand tag: 50% or more recycled polyester

If a replacement cannot be secured, a refund will be made.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.
