Capitan, a robustness-oriented helmet, has been updated. It is made from 30% recycled material by weight in consideration of the environment. The shell is made of DuraPET and the internal padding is made of bamboo fibre. The shell is made in a two-piece front and rear construction, which allows it to mould to the shape of the head. The foam material is a combination of EPP and EPS and meets the UIAA requirements set out for side and rear head protection. Sufficient openings provide excellent ventilation.
