Cushioning, grip, comfort, stability
Olympus is used by many people for long trail runs of over 100 km and mountaineering with heavy loads on their backs.
One of the reasons for this is the MAX cushion with a stack height of 33 mm. This effectively reduces ground impact.

Olympus is classified as a 'thick-soled shoe', but its outstanding stability attracts many people.
This stability is achieved through the placement of guide rails on the inside, which provide support when the shoe is about to fall heavily inwards, and the design of the soles, which fan out towards the ground to provide a larger ground contact area.

In addition, the Vibram Megagrip sole is used, and its excellent grip is a major factor in its popularity with climbers.

A wide toe box is another feature. It does not compromise comfort when the feet become edematous and prevents discomfort that would make you want to take off your shoes.

The zero-drop shape makes it easy to contact the foot with the entire sole, even when prone to strong impacts, especially on downhill slopes, and maximises the foot's natural shock-absorbing capacity.

In addition to the reasons why the OLYMPUS series is so well supported, the Olympus 6 has been updated with the following new features

Increased mesh areas for improved ventilation and faster drying.
The lug pattern has been modified to further improve traction and stability.
Premium Achilles pillow added in the heel area for improved fit and stepping sensation.
The toe guard has been changed to a material that is neither too hard nor too soft. The toe-guard is now made of a material that is not too hard or soft, so that it does not hurt when the toe hits the tip of the shoe, for example when going downhill.
The shoe is now made with a thicker sole. The instep is now less prone to pain even after prolonged use.
