MESA is the name of a town located along Highway 395 between Mammoth Lakes and Bishop.
The MESA's design is a blend of the GAIA, an early FLOAT model, and the VEGA, the largest model in the FLOAT series; it is what is commonly known as a Boston-style frame.
LONEPINE and MESA return to the roots of sunglasses with their oversized designs.
Although it’s large, it doesn’t feel bulky, and I think it’s a pair that’s comfortable and easy to wear for both men and women.
Brown lenses (15% visible light transmittance) offer the highest contrast (difference between light and dark) and are particularly effective for technical applications such as spotting fish and the riverbed, as well as assessing terrain in snowy mountain environments. Although they have a slightly brownish tint, they make green and earth tones appear more vivid, offering a different kind of enjoyment and practicality compared to gray lenses.
This is a piece that returns to the roots of FLOAT.

○ Hinge-less Temples
FLOAT’s unique hingeless temples were developed using a special resin that combines flexibility with durability comparable to metal. This design delivers a wearing experience that feels as if the glasses are floating. By gently cradling the head, they are designed to remain comfortable even during extended wear and stay securely in place.
○ Polarized Lenses for Clear Vision
If you wear high-performance (and high-priced) polarized lenses, you can enjoy a clearer view than you would with the naked eye.
Since it prevents unwanted glare from entering, it reduces eye strain.
It also comes standard with AR (anti-reflective) coating to reduce glare on the back of the lens.
