I've finished making a windshell for fall and winter mountain running.
The double-folded gusset on the back expands like a shell (POD) that wraps around your back, allowing you to wear it even while carrying a running pack.

The impetus for this development was the fact that continuing to run while wearing light clothing can cause the body to get cold, leading to a decline in performance or an increased risk of hypothermia.
With the WIND RIVER POD HOODY, you'll never have to worry about those kinds of problems again. It's lightweight, and the zipper—which carries over the design of the TB JACKET—effectively lets the wind flow through, so you can start running right away without taking it off.
Thanks to the long zipper and wide opening, you can easily reach into the vest's pockets to retrieve a water bottle or snacks.
Even when worn over a backpack, it doesn't restrict arm movement, and when you're not carrying a backpack, the gussets fold away for a sleek, snug fit.
The fabric is the same mechanical stretch nylon used in the classic WIND RIVER HOODY.
With moderate wind resistance and water repellency, it’s certainly comfortable to wear while hiking. It’s packable—you can stow the jacket itself in the back pocket—making it extremely portable.

・Back pleat construction
The double-fold gusset at the back ensures that the garment doesn't restrict arm movement, even when worn over a running vest. When worn on its own, the gusset folds flat for a sleek fit and minimizes excess flapping.

・Ventilation
Long ventilation panels extending from the top. Positioned for easy access to the water bottle in a running vest. The panels open wide all the way to the bottom, allowing access to energy snacks in the center and side pockets, as well as gear on the back.

・Cuff Details
The rubber-reinforced cuffs fit snugly around the wrists to keep the wind out. Features a thumb loop.

・Hem Details
The hem features piping that provides a comfortable, snug fit. The back is designed with a long drop-tail to ensure it covers the upper waist.

・Front zipper
The front features a double-slider design. When opened from the bottom, it serves as ventilation.

・Packable storage
When the main unit is stored away, it fits in the palm of your hand, making it highly portable.

・Outer fabric
The outer fabric is 100% nylon. It combines wind resistance with breathability and features stretch, so it doesn't restrict your movement while running.

■Maintenance Instructions
・Use a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener or bleach.

・If the water-repellent properties have diminished, iron the item using a pressing cloth (on the low-temperature setting).
