The North Face Ascent Peak Jacket (Women's)

■Excerpt from the manufacturer's description
A high-performance outer shell jacket designed for climbing, featuring enhanced functionality within a layering system and intended for use on varied routes during the domestic snow season.

The main fabric is a 70-denier 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro construction that offers protection and wind resistance to withstand weather and environmental changes from the snowfall season through the wet snow season, as well as high waterproof breathability that ensures comfort while wearing. Despite its lightweight design, it blocks the intrusion of wind, water, and snow—which can cause the body to feel cold—while efficiently wicking away moisture buildup inside the garment.
The main zipper on the front is a double-action zipper that opens in the opposite direction, designed for ease of use while wearing a harness.
On both sides, in addition to large storage pockets with flaps, the jacket features ventilation zippers that allow access to the inside of your clothing from the underarms. This makes it easy to retrieve electronic devices and other items stored in your mid-layer or bib pants.
The hood is sized to fit over a helmet and is designed with a one-handed adjuster and a release mechanism that enhances ease of use.
The silhouette features a standard fit with a three-dimensional sleeve attachment pattern designed to follow dynamic movements.

This technical piece of gear is designed for versatility, enhancing convenience for a wide range of activities—from day hikes and overnight stays in mountain huts to multi-day climbs involving overnight stays in the snow.
