THE NORTH FACE's proprietary "FUTURELIGHT" waterproof, breathable material is used. While preventing moisture such as rain, its breathability suppresses temperature rises inside the garment due to stuffiness, and actively releases the heat generated.
Weighing only approx. 115 g in size L (approx. 105 g in size WL), it can be carried in a compact palm-sized package when stored in the attached stuff sack. In high activity scenes, the ventilation at the back waist can be opened to expel moisture. The hem zipper can be opened wide so that it can be put on and taken off even with shoes on.
The supple, soft fabric and tapered design below the knee that doesn't flap when running make for dynamic trail running in poor weather conditions.
