The Terraventure4 is ideal for rocky, technical trails. Updated from its predecessor, it has been specced for faster, nimble running and improved protection. The acclaimed moderately cushioned platform, forefoot rock plate and Vibram MegaGrip outsole are still the same, making the shoe a safe and free-running shoe for tough trails.

The Performance Gaiter can be fitted to protect the feet from dirt, stones and twigs on the trail.

■Care instructions.
Remove the shoelaces and insoles and wipe off any dirt with a cloth or sponge dipped in warm water.
For heavy soiling you can use a brush, but never scrub too hard.
To avoid damaging delicate stitches and fibres, it is recommended to wash softly and only apply the tips of the bristles lightly.
If detergent is used, neutral detergent or soap is recommended, but please rinse thoroughly to avoid detergent residue.
This is because any detergent residue may cause discolouration.
Once washed, allow to dry naturally in a shady, well-ventilated area.
Drying in direct sunlight, on a stove or with a hairdryer may cause deformation, shrinkage or discolouration.
*Avoid using a washing machine/dryer.
