The Merced River flows through Yosemite Valley. This shirt is designed for those moments when you’re strolling around the area, visiting waterfalls, viewing Ansel Adams’ photographs, or simply taking time to relax and enjoy nature.
Made from 100% recycled nylon fabric, this material offers excellent stretch without the use of polyurethane, which becomes heavy when wet. Its textured, slightly rough surface ensures it stays dry against the skin even when you sweat, making it perfect for summer mountaineering.

・The importance of using recycled materials
Throughout a garment’s entire lifecycle—from raw material sourcing to disposal after use—the raw material sourcing stage accounts for the largest share of CO₂ emissions, representing approximately 50% of the total. In other words, reducing CO₂ emissions during raw material sourcing significantly lowers the environmental impact of a garment’s entire lifecycle. As demonstrated by pre-consumer recycled nylon (*), which can reduce CO₂ emissions by as much as 75%, we believe that using recycled materials whenever possible and choosing to wear such garments are important steps we can take.

This product is made by recycling "nylon lint waste generated during the production of nylon yarn"—which was previously incinerated—and reprocessing it into nylon yarn and fabric.

Cancellation of orders
