Hot and humid summer sinogging requires an active layer with functions that can support physical performance and strength to withstand sinogging. Hachiju Hachiya was developed for this purpose and is a round-neck T-shirt with a simple yet quirky design that is unique to Ling. Hachi Ju Hachiya uses a hybrid material designed with merino wool on the skin surface and polyester on the surface.The predecessor to this material has been used since 2015, and the current Hachi Ju Hachiya material was made lighter in 2019 in cooperation with a material manufacturer. Since then, we have continued to use this material for Hachiju Hachiya, which is sweat absorbent, quick drying, odour resistant, strong and lightweight. It is hard to find a material with such a good balance, and after years of continuous use we know all the advantages of this material.

Heartland
Hachijuhachiya, an active layer with merino wool on the skin and sweat-absorbing polyester on the surface, has a function to actively diffuse sweat on the surface and dry it while the wool on the skin stores the sweat that comes out after climbing steep ridges. The hybrid structure of this high-functional layer is also very comfortable to wear. This highly functional layer has a hybrid structure, but also has a calm side, dyed in deep, traditional Japanese colours. It can be used comfortably from the eighty-eighth day of the year, when it will soon be warm, to when you feel the first hints of autumn.

The round-necked design can be worn alone or with a noragi or michikusa over it. If the wind is a concern, add a layer of kunado for protection. When you arrive at the hammock point and take a break, you can prevent sweat chill by wearing a haorimono octa to absorb sweat.
