BEDROCK SANDALS has relocated from Oakland, California, to Missoula, Montana, where the natural outdoor surroundings are even more abundant.
However, in that region, where winters are harsh, it was difficult to get through the entire year wearing only sandals.
As a result, they needed footwear that offered functionality on par with the rest of their sandal lineup, while also keeping their feet comfortable throughout the winter. This pair was developed to meet those needs.

This Mountain Clog, designed to fully cover the foot from the instep down, keeps the winter cold at bay, making it a versatile pair of shoes you can wear all year round.
Wearing thick, warm socks provides excellent insulation.
What’s more, since there’s little risk of bumping your toes or dropping something and getting hurt, you can wear them without worry in a variety of situations while staying safe.

Furthermore, with its round, gentle appearance, it pairs exceptionally well not only with outdoor wear but also with casual wear, making it a versatile choice not just for outdoor activities but also as a stylish everyday pair of shoes.

■Features of the Suede Leather Mountain Clog

The upper is made of durable suede leather and is lightweight and flexible.
The interior is lined with a soft polyester spacer mesh, providing comfort and excellent breathability.

The clogs feature a polyurethane footbed that offers excellent cushioning and durability, and is anatomically contoured with a zero-drop design (where the heel and toe are at the same height).

The patented Mountain Clog design features high-quality webbing that can be adjusted at three points, as well as a closed-toe climbing rubber toe cap designed to handle any adventure.

Vibram's black, non-marking Megagrip rubber sole offers exceptional traction and durability, delivering reliable performance in all conditions. It is resoleable.

・The straps across the instep and heel can be adjusted with G-hooks, just like on the Cairn Evo 3D Pro.
Since there is no strap across the instep, the support is slightly less than that of the Cairn Evo series, but in exchange, you get a sense of freedom in the forefoot.
The strap on the outer side of the instep can be released with a single motion, and because it securely holds the foot in place, putting on and taking off the shoes is a breeze.

・The footbed features a gently contoured shape that falls right in between the completely flat Carin Evo and the Cairn Evo 3D, which has a three-dimensional design to support the sole of the foot.
In addition, since these are the thickest in the BEDROCK SANDALS lineup, they offer excellent cushioning and are comfortable enough that you won't get tired even if you wear them all day long.

・The outsole, newly designed specifically for Clog, offers the functionality needed for outdoor activities while also being easy to use when pedaling a bicycle and in everyday life.
In addition, because it uses Vibram Mega Grip as its outsole material, it offers excellent traction near water and on muddy surfaces.

・The toe area, which is subject to frequent physical contact, is coated with rubber to enhance safety and durability.

Compared to the Cairn Evo series, it is slightly smaller in size.
Therefore, if you’re wearing the Cairn Evo series in a size that fits you exactly without any extra room, we recommend choosing a size larger than the one you usually wear.

○ Comparison with the Previous Cairn Series Models
Since these are designed to be worn with socks, they are built slightly larger than the Cairn series. While you might find them a bit roomy when worn barefoot, you can secure them firmly by adjusting the three straps.
You can compare them as follows.

Mountain Clog 5/6 - 7/8: Runs about one size larger than the same size in Cairn sandals
Mountain Clog 8/9–12/13: Fits the same as the same size in the Cairn sandals
