At Ryo, we create gear for hiking Japan’s low mountains based on our unique aesthetic. Unlike Western-style clothing, our Noragi incorporates the design of traditional work kimonos—known as noragi—that were once worn for farm work. We use the latest materials to provide the functionality needed for hiking, and we’ve refined every detail to ensure the gear is perfectly suited for the trail.

〇Mindfully
Although the soft fabric doesn’t stretch, it conforms to your body the moment you put it on. The generous cut of both the body and sleeves allows for easy movement, so you won’t feel any strain while practicing shinogi.You can reduce flapping in strong winds by securing the under-bust loops with an S-BINNER or tying them with a cord. The design is inherently airy, and the fabric offers moderate breathability, which is sufficient on its own; however, opening the underarm seams and unzipping the side zippers provides exceptional ventilation.

〇Styling
A stylish look is to casually throw it on over a Hine Mos or a scale-patterned shirt while keeping your Yama Bag slung over your shoulder.Pair them with Tatzuke pants to complete the Ryō Neo-Classic style. When wearing a backpack with a hip belt, open the side zipper and thread the hip belt through the inside of the hem. This allows you to wear it without disrupting the original silhouette. Carry a Ryō ice axe instead of a hoe, and let’s get to work!

This twill fabric features a subdued, matte finish; it is neither too thick nor too thin, and offers a soft feel while providing the strength required for shino-giri. It offers moderate breathability and wind resistance, as well as water repellency.

If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.

About the indicated prices
