Wind pants made from lightweight 13D (denier) ripstop nylon fabric. The long zipper at the hem makes it easy to put them on and take them off without removing your shoes. They pack down compactly into the included stuff sack.
Proper temperature regulation is crucial for safety during outdoor activities. These wind pants feature a long zipper at the hem, allowing you to put them on or take them off while wearing your shoes. This makes it easy to slip them on immediately if you feel cold, or quickly take them off and stow them away if you start to feel stuffy. They’re treated with C0 water-repellent technology, so you can stay confident even in light rain. These wind pants can be paired with the 13D Packable Hoody to create a complete outfit.
The back and side pockets feature zippers, so you don't have to worry about losing your valuables while on the trail. Pack it away compactly in the included stuff sack and take it with you wherever you go.

PFC-free
Fluorine-based coating technology has long been the foundation of rainwear. However, in recent years, it has become clear that the substances used in this technology are “forever chemicals” that accumulate in the environment and pose a health risk to humans. In response, regulations are being implemented worldwide, and there is a growing shift from conventional water-repellent technology—known as “C8”—to “C6” water-repellent technology, which does not use PFOA, a substance identified as particularly harmful. Going a step further, there is “fluorine-free” water-repellent treatment—also known as “PFC-free”—which achieves water repellency without using PFCs (perfluorinated compounds) at all. In light of these facts, HERENESS has decided to adopt C0 water-repellent (PFC-free) technology for future products and to gradually switch from C6 to C0 in its existing product line as well.
