A new color is now available for the “Onion Hoody”—a must-have running apparel item from milestone!

When you're running in cold weather, haven't you ever felt like you can't see your watch when you put your thumb through the thumbhole?

Even in such situations, the problem has been instantly resolved by incorporating “Watch Windows” on both arms, allowing you to immediately check your pace, heart rate, and distance.

The distinctive asymmetrical zipper not only sets the design apart visually but is also engineered so that it does not rub against the chin.

By using the double zipper as needed, fresh air can be drawn in instantly, making it easier to regulate body temperature.
Large ventilation panels are placed at the sweat-prone areas under the arms and on the back.

We worked with a fabric manufacturer based in Japan’s Hokuriku region to produce this item on a made-to-order basis from raw fabric, and we created three original colors exclusive to milestone by mixing the dyes in a beaker.
Available in classic Coal Black, soft Polar White, and subdued British Green.

The fabric is woven from fine 20d nylon yarn using a double-rib weave in both the warp and weft directions, successfully creating a textured surface.
It strikes a good balance between comfort against the skin, breathability, and durability.
In addition, to reduce weight, we’ve achieved a stretchy feel using nylon instead of polyurethane.

Environmental issues have become a global standard in recent years.
We have adopted C-zero water-repellent treated products, which contain no fluorinated compounds and virtually eliminate the release of substances that affect the environment and human health, thereby demonstrating our commitment to both the environment and human health.

We’ve finally completed the “Onion Hoodie”—a windshell the size of an onion that fits in a hidden storage pouch inside the hood and sits right in the palm of your hand!

The Origin of the Name "Onion Hoodie": From Marvin Gaye's hit song "The Onion Song" — "We need to plant the seeds of love. The world is just a big onion." —

I was moved by a song that compares the Earth to an onion—a song filled with love and free of war—and, seeing the recent war between Russia and Ukraine, I felt a sense of sadness, which is why I chose this name.
