The "TIMP 6 GTX" has been upgraded with a mid-cut design that maintains the same agility while providing enhanced ankle support. It delivers all-around performance with no blind spots, even during long hikes and in harsh conditions.

The key feature is the newly designed waterproof upper. By combining GORE-TEX Invisible Fit with durable, premium soft mesh, we’ve achieved a fully waterproof shoe that’s surprisingly lightweight and flexible.

Even the smallest updates reflect our commitment to supporting long-distance performance. First, we’ve introduced single closed eyelets (sealed grommets) for the lacing system. This design ensures a secure fit and superior support, keeping the shoes tight even during intense activity and providing a reliable, comfortable fit.

In addition, we have improved the collar (top) construction around the ankle. By redesigning it for a better fit, the boots are less likely to cause chafing or feel constricting even during extended wear, ensuring lasting, enveloping comfort. Furthermore, the front section features an integrated gaiter attachment, allowing for a smarter and more functional way to secure gaiters that prevent gravel and mud from entering.

Of course, Altra’s signature “zero-drop design,” the shock-absorbing Altra EGO MAX midsole (30mm stack height), and the Vibram Megagrip outsole with its exceptional grip are all still here.
