Mountain shell made of PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE material for robustness and high versatility.
The Beta is versatile enough for any activity. Made from durable 80 denier surface material and a lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane. Offers excellent waterproof, windproof and breathable properties while reducing carbon dioxide emissions; C-KNIT backer for added comfort; and a lightweight, lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane for maximum breathability. Adjustable, thin StormHood provides coverage but does not obstruct vision. The three-dimensional construction allows for ease of movement and the RECCO reflector enhances searchability in an emergency. No PFAS is intentionally added to this product. The new ePE membrane technology offers the same strength and durability as conventional materials while being lighter and thinner. ePE membrane-based products may seem to make the surface material slightly damp, but this does not affect the waterproofing properties of the membrane itself. However, this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself, so please be reassured. If you feel that the fabric is more prone to becoming damp than expected, wash and dry the jacket to remove oil and dirt, which will restore the DWR's waterproof function.

Mountain shell made of PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE material for robustness and high versatility.
The Beta is versatile enough for any activity. Made from durable 80 denier surface material and a lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane. Offers excellent waterproof, windproof and breathable properties while reducing carbon dioxide emissions; C-KNIT backer for added comfort; and a lightweight, lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane for maximum breathability. Adjustable, thin StormHood provides coverage but does not obstruct vision. The three-dimensional construction allows for ease of movement and the RECCO reflector enhances searchability in an emergency. No PFAS is intentionally added to this product. The new ePE membrane technology offers the same strength and durability as conventional materials while being lighter and thinner. ePE membrane-based products may seem to make the surface material slightly damp, but this does not affect the waterproofing properties of the membrane itself. However, this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself, so please be reassured. If you feel that the fabric is more prone to becoming damp than expected, wash and dry the jacket to remove oil and dirt, which will restore the DWR's waterproof function.
