Arc'teryx's most versatile Gore-Tex shell. Made from durable 80 denier surface material and a lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane. Provides lasting waterproof, windproof and breathable protection while reducing carbon dioxide emissions; C-KNIT backer for enhanced comfort; and a lightweight, lightweight, strong, PFC-free Gore-Tex ePE (stretched polyethylene) membrane for maximum breathability and durability. The thin StormHood can be quickly adjusted by simply pulling, providing coverage and unobstructed visibility. The three-dimensional construction allows for ease of movement, while the integrated RECCO reflector enhances searchability in an emergency. No PFAS is intentionally added to this product. The new ePE membrane technology offers the same strength and durability as conventional materials while being lighter and thinner. ePE membrane-based products may seem to make the surface material slightly damp, but this does not affect the waterproofing properties of the membrane itself. However, this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself, so please be reassured. If you feel that the fabric is more prone to becoming damp than expected, wash and dry the jacket to remove oil and dirt, which will restore the DWR's waterproof function.
