With a stack height (sole height) of just 6mm—a design stripped down to the absolute minimum—this shoe creates a direct connection between your feet and the ground, reawakening your body’s natural movement and sensation. In addition to the original model featuring highly breathable engineered mesh, the lineup includes the "Vapor Glove 7 Leather," which features a premium leather upper. The supple, comfortable leather develops a richer character the more you wear it, adding a refined presence to the minimalist aesthetic unique to barefoot-style footwear. The leather’s unique charm lies in its ability to blend naturally into everyday style without looking overly sporty. Furthermore, the outsole features the Vibram TC5+, developed exclusively for MERRELL. It offers reliable traction derived from outdoor performance while accommodating a wide range of activities, from running and training to walking and everyday life.

These barefoot-style training shoes feature a 0mm drop design created to unlock the body’s natural potential, including muscles and balance that aren’t typically used. While conventional cushioned shoes often lead to “heel striking,” barefoot shoes encourage “forefoot striking.” Furthermore, by stripping materials and features down to the bare essentials, they apply low-impact stress to muscles that are difficult to train otherwise, enhancing training effectiveness. They also help improve running form and can help prevent injuries.
