What kind of cap is best for hikers?
Of course, I want it to block the harsh mountain sun, and it should be able to withstand strong winds along the ridgeline. It would be even better if it dried quickly when wet and was so light that I’d forget I was wearing it. But since there wasn’t a cap like that before this Stretch Mesh Cap, I decided to make one myself.
Starting with the 2023 model, the brim is made of shape-memory fabric, allowing for easy adjustment and maintaining its shape securely. This cap truly becomes an extension of the hiker’s body on long treks.
■Features and Design
〇A brim that can be freely shaped using shape-memory fabric
By using shape-memory fabric for the lining, you can make subtle adjustments to the shape—such as slightly lifting it or stretching it out straight—while also maintaining its shape. At the same time, no matter how much you bend it, it immediately returns to a flat state.
In addition, because it is thin and flexible, it bends backward in strong winds, allowing the wind to flow over it and making it less likely to be blown off.
〇Adjustable strap that can be quickly adjusted with one hand
It can be quickly adjusted with one hand even in strong winds, and because it is extremely thin and compact, it won’t get in the way when worn while sleeping.

・Please wash on a gentle cycle using water at 30°C.
・We recommend using a mild detergent.
・Please wash this item on its own or place it in a laundry net.
・For heavy stains, apply detergent diluted with water and spot-clean with lukewarm water.
・Do not use a dryer.
・To dry, gently pull the seams to reshape the garment, then hang it in the shade to dry.
・Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
・Please iron at a low temperature without using steam.
・Do not dry clean.
