In recent years, the "mountain shirt" has become a staple among hikers.
Thanks to its versatility—it can be worn as a light jacket or a windshell—how it fits into your gear list depends on your hiking style and preferences.

On the other hand, many people struggle with what to pack, thinking, “I want to wear a hiking shirt, but I’m worried about strong winds, so maybe I should bring a windshell too…”
A lightweight softshell is an option, but it feels a bit too sporty.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a piece of clothing that fills that sense of “space” between them?
And that’s how Alternative JKT was born.

"The Meaning Behind the Name"

It’s a hiking shirt, a windshell, and a lightweight softshell all in one. And while it has a certain coach jacket-like vibe, it doesn’t feel streetwear-inspired.

“Not part of the mainstream or conventional wisdom”
“Belonging to nowhere, wearing clothes that reflect who I am”

With that in mind, we named it **Alternative**.

・Since this material is prone to staining or wrinkling when exposed to rain or water, it has been treated with a water-repellent finish.
・The water-repellent finish is not permanent; its effectiveness diminishes with repeated wear and cleaning. Therefore, please ask your dry cleaner to reapply the finish when you have the garment cleaned. Alternatively, you may use a commercially available water-repellent spray.

Cancellation of orders

As a rule, cancellations after the dispatch completion email has been sent are not accepted.

Although we make every effort to manage our stock, we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to keep the ordered product in stock for an unavoidable reason.

Limit on number of purchases

The number of purchases may be limited for some products. Orders from multiple accounts that appear to be from the same person, or orders that appear to be using a BOT, may be cancelled or reduced in quantity.

Returns and exchanges

However, in the unlikely event that the product is damaged or defaced, or if you receive an item that is different from your order, please contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. We will take action at our expense.

If a replacement can be secured, the product will be replaced.
If a replacement cannot be secured, a refund will be made.

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

If more than 8 days have elapsed since the arrival of the goods
When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.

About the indicated prices

Every care is taken to ensure that correct product information is displayed on the website, but in the unlikely event that it is discovered after payment has been made that the price of a product was incorrectly displayed on the website, the customer will be contacted and the correct price will be corrected before payment is made or the order is cancelled.
