Tents that can be used by large people can of course also be used by small people, but the larger the tent, the heavier it is and the unnecessary weight load it imposes on small people.
Tent weight is an important issue for people of equivalent build, as people of shorter stature have less muscle strength than those of higher stature. This is particularly important for women, who generally have less muscle strength at the same height than men.
A comparison of the average height of Japanese men and women shows that men are approximately 172 cm tall, while women are approximately 158 cm tall, a gap of about 8%. However, tents are not available in different sizes according to height or gender, as is the case with apparel.
Therefore, arata thought that a tent that could be used by a person of approximately 165 cm without difficulty would be the ideal size for many women and small men, and would also resonate with climbers who prioritise light weight even if it means some inconvenience.
The update features the new DAC Featherlite NFL 8.7.
This has made the AX-75 even lighter while increasing its strength, with a minimum weight of 880g*1, making it one of the lightest double-walled mountain tents in Japan.
It also features the unique sleeve-hub construction common to the AX series and a truss structure that makes full use of guy lines, making the tent lightweight yet strong and allowing the tent to increase in strength as the weather conditions change.
The product includes the tent itself, flysheet and poles, as well as a groundsheet.
There is also a range of optional accessories that make the AX series even more robust and comfortable.

Improved convenience by changing the mounting position of the door pockets.

Improved local abrasion resistance of the inner tent bottom.
Selectivity with and without pegs.
Resin ring added to the lower attachment point of the inner guy line to improve tension adjustment.
Improved stowage of the ventilation rod above the flysheet when not in use.
