The Ideal Hybrid Wool
"Axio" is a special twisted yarn in which wool fibers are wrapped around the outer layer of a spiral-shaped polyester yarn with an irregular cross-section. It retains the benefits of wool—such as a soft feel, moisture-regulating properties, and odor-resistant effects—while adding the quick-drying and durable qualities of polyester.
TETON BROS. has applied its own unique tuning to this "Axio" fabric, giving it superior moisture-wicking and breathability not found in other brands. "Axio Lite" is an ideal hybrid wool fabric created by weaving TETON BROS.'s original "Axio" with polyester in a striped pattern, further enhancing breathability, durability, and ease of care. Another key feature of this striped fabric is that, despite its lightweight nature, it is not easily see-through.
Hoodies aren’t just for keeping warm—they’re also effective for preventing sunburn in the summer. By shielding yourself from the sun, you can also prevent energy loss. The double-layered hood fabric doesn’t pull or feel tight even when worn under a cap or helmet, and it moves with your face.

"Axio" is a hybrid fabric developed in Bishu, a world-renowned center for wool production. It is created by wrapping wool around a polyester core to form a yarn. Since the surface is made of wool, it offers the same comfort, moisture-regulating properties, warmth, and odor-resistant qualities as pure wool. Additionally, it combines these benefits with the moisture-wicking, quick-drying properties and durability of polyester.
The "Axio" fabric used by TETON BROS. features a polyester core with a unique cross-sectional shape; after being woven into fabric, it undergoes a special treatment to enhance quick-drying performance, thereby improving moisture-wicking and quick-drying capabilities.
"Axio Lite" is a fabric created by interweaving this original "Axio" yarn with polyester. By alternating "Axio" and polyester in a striped pattern, the fabric offers even greater breathability and stretch. The texture of the stripes refracts light, making the fabric less see-through despite its lightweight nature, and more comfortable for women to wear.
■Handling Instructions
・Hand wash in water below 30°C using a mild detergent.
*Please avoid temperatures above 30°C at all costs, as they can cause the fabric to shrink or become damaged.
・Gently press down on the entire garment as you wash it.
*Do not rub or scrub vigorously.
・After washing quickly, change the water and rinse.
・Aim to keep the total time for washing and rinsing to 3–5 minutes or less, and keep the process as brief as possible.
*Note: Leaving the item in water for an extended period can cause the fibers to stiffen and lead to "felting."
・Once you’re done washing, wrap it in a large towel and gently press to remove excess water.
・Shape the item and lay it flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated place.
・Never use a dryer.
■Maintenance Instructions
・When washing, use water at 30°C or lower, turn the garment inside out, and wash by hand.
・Use a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener or bleach
・Do not tumble dry or dry clean
・Due to the nature of the fabric, it may shrink slightly, so please reshape it after washing and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・Do not leave the product wet with water or sweat for extended periods of time
