After thinking about how to make Ryo’s shirt more true to his character, I decided against a standard Western-style shirt and settled on a koiguchi shirt—a style unique to Japan.
When people think of koiguchi shirts, they often associate them with festivals and food stalls, and many people probably think of summer in Japan.
With that in mind, we decided this design was perfect for summer wear and created it based on a koiguchi shirt.
The front of the collar has been slightly shortened to create a round neckline; the cuffs have been left slightly longer with a fishtail hem; and a slit has been added to the hem to create a relaxed fit around the waist.
The front opening features reliable YKK Plancer snap buttons, and we selected a cool, sweat-wicking shijira weave for the fabric.
Wearing a Ryuryu koiguchi shirt and spending the whole day swaying in a hammock at a vacation home where you won’t run into a soul—that’s sure to be the best.

The textured surface of the shijira weave traps air, providing a gentle warmth while the small, evenly spaced holes ensure excellent breathability.
In addition, because it is moisture-wicking, it actively absorbs and disperses sweat generated during sprinting, reducing the amount of moisture left on the base layer.
It offers a dry, comfortable feel that you simply can’t get from a water-repellent shirt.

■Styling
For summer wear, we recommend wearing it over a light undershirt, and in early spring or late autumn, we recommend wearing it over a noragi.
It also pairs perfectly with double-breasted pants and jodhpurs.

Cancellation of orders

Returns and exchanges will not be accepted if any of the following conditions apply. Please note in advance

When the customer is deemed to have used the product by our company.
If the product has been repaired, washed or cleaned.
Loss or damage to accessories (product tag, warranty card, bag, box, etc.)
If smells, scratches or stains occur under the customer's care.
Products that come into contact with the skin, such as underwear, socks and accessories, perfumes and cosmetics.
If you return the goods without informing us in advance.

About the indicated prices

Every care is taken to ensure that correct product information is displayed on the website, but in the unlikely event that it is discovered after payment has been made that the price of a product was incorrectly displayed on the website, the customer will be contacted and the correct price will be corrected before payment is made or the order is cancelled.
