Lightweight, high-performance V-Shape Stake Set from DAC
The DAC J-STAKE is a peg that arata trusts and considers suitable for the Japanese mountain environment.
The construction, based on TH72M aluminium alloy extrusion with cut-out sides, is a simple construction method and is cost-effective.
The tops are designed so that the force is applied in a straight line and also so that the part where the guy rope is applied is not subjected to forces that could cause it to break.
The V-Shape, with a slight notch in the middle, provides an excellent balance between penetration and support, allowing it to penetrate and grip the ground from soft ground to hard ground with large stone deposits without damage.
DAC's anodising and heat treatment maximises the potential of the material, making it stronger, harder, more scratch-resistant and less likely to break than ordinary aluminium pegs made by other companies.
From an engineer's point of view there is, in our opinion, no better balance of cost and performance than this peg.
