〇Regarding the durability of the fabric
DF Merino Mesh, with its textured, mesh-like surface, is designed in such a way that when worn on its own, friction from contact with backpacks and other items can easily cause pilling, holes, and fraying in the fabric.
Wool fibers are naturally short, so they tend to shed easily when rubbed. Compared to synthetic or cotton fabrics, wool is more prone to thinning and developing holes. Extra caution is required when moving through thick underbrush or rocky terrain, or when the fabric comes into contact with materials like heavy-duty mesh, compared to standard wool knit fabrics.
If you anticipate rough handling, we recommend wearing this item under a shell or shirt rather than on its own (since it is highly breathable and allows air to pass through easily, a shell is also useful for protection against the cold).
〇 About color bleeding
Please note that this product may cause color transfer if it rubs against white or light-colored shirts that are wet from sweat or rain.

Compared to traditional merino wool, DF Mesh Merino features a mesh structure that provides exceptional breathability, allowing air to circulate and effectively dissipating heat even in hot conditions where body heat tends to build up, such as during hikes or runs.
• Non-greasy
DF Mesh Merino is knitted with 100% merino wool yarn on the inner side for a soft, comfortable feel against the skin, while its mesh structure—which makes contact with the skin only at specific points—helps alleviate discomfort when wet.
Furthermore, the side against the skin features a water-repellent finish, while the outer surface has a moisture-wicking finish. This two-layer (Double Face = DF) mesh structure quickly draws moisture away from the skin, preventing sweat-induced stickiness and ensuring a comfortable fit.
