TIMP 6 is a trail shoe that truly shines on long trails and during extended outings, allowing you to “tread confidently” on any terrain. Even on courses where footing is prone to becoming unstable—such as wet rocks, boardwalks, and scree slopes—it maintains stability. This model achieves a high level of balance across “grip,” “cushioning,” “fit,” and “comfort.”

The midsole features Altra EGO MAX, and the stack height has been updated to 30 mm. It combines cushioning that effectively absorbs impact with just the right amount of rebound, protecting your feet even during long runs while maintaining a sense of forward momentum.

The outsole is based on Vibram Megagrip and has been redesigned to provide even better traction. It enhances grip reliability not only on dry surfaces but also on wet ones, ensuring a stable footing even when you’re pushing the limits.

Furthermore, in this model, we’ve revised the fit structure to improve the “snugness” you feel the moment you slip your foot in. To maintain a secure fit from the instep to the midfoot while minimizing any feeling of tightness, we’ve adjusted the interior volume—specifically the step-in clearance—to provide a more spacious feel. As a result, in addition to the long-lasting comfort characteristic of ALTRA, the shoe reduces stress during flexion, allowing you to wear it comfortably for extended periods.

The upper has been updated to Soft Rolled Mesh (85% RPET). This design enhances comfort and breathability while also improving protection through a redesign of the overlays.
