The Deschutes Plus Tarp is the successor to the Wild Oasis, SMD's most manic shelter. The interior height has been increased from 115 cm to 122 cm, which significantly increases livability!
The shape may seem maniacal, but the bottom netting surrounding it on all sides actually makes it an easy-to-use tarp shelter in the Japanese mountains, regardless of the season.

Bug nets hanging down from the walls on all four sides fall almost perpendicular to the ground.
The most important feature of this is that it allows a large area of activity inside, even when the entrance is closed.
The space where the sleeping bag does not touch the curtain even if you lie down at a slight angle allows you to place your gear separately on either side,
