Mittens for active winter mountaineers, developed with the idea of active insulation.
Combining the breathable waterproof and breathable material *Pertex Shield Air with the thicker Polartec Alpha Direct for superior warmth, it is significantly lighter, more breathable and more comfortable at all times than conventional padded mittens.
Furthermore, you can quickly pull your fingers out while wearing them, so you can open and close zippers and operate your smartphone without stress. These could be the mittens you've been looking for all your life.

■ Product features.
Active insulation mittens for winter and cold weather use, which are by far the lightest and most breathable.
The design allows fingers to be inserted and removed from the palm of the hand, enabling detailed work without removing the mitten.
The outer fabric is made of Pertex Shield Air (58 g/m2), which is used in the UL All-weather series.
Thick Pertex Shield Air (110 g/m2) is used on the palm side, where durability is required.
Lightweight, about 2/1 - 3/1 lighter than typical severe winter mittens.

The product is not fully waterproof.
-The outer fabric of this product is made of an ultra-thin waterproof breathable fabric. Please take care not to damage or tear the fabric due to rock rubbing, snagging of trees, etc.
To maximise the waterproof breathability of the product, care is required after use. Dirt, sweat, sebum, etc. adhering to the waterproof breathable fabric used for the outer layer of this product will impair its performance. Wash and dry frequently according to the washing instructions and keep clean. If the water repellent function of the fabric surface is damaged, the moisture permeability will also be lost. If you feel that the water repellency has weakened, regularly apply heat to the fabric by running it through a low-temperature dryer or applying a hairdryer to it to restore its water repellency. However, repeated washing will cause the initial water repellent to wear off and the water repellency will not return even if heat is applied. In this case, use a commercially available water repellent and care for it regularly.
The waterproof breathable fabric used for the outer fabric of this product is a very lightweight, thin and porous material, so products containing Vaseline, insecticide or ethanol (e.g. hair cream, cosmetics, sunscreen, insect repellent) may cause staining or reduce the moisture permeability function if they adhere to the fabric.
■ Product care
For washing, use a neutral detergent and keep the water temperature below 40°C.
Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
Partially wash any stained areas with a laundry brush or soft sponge.
Use a dryer at low temperature (below 60°C) regularly to restore the water repellent properties.
Iron at a low temperature and without steam.
Avoid dry cleaning.
Products containing Vaseline, insect repellent ingredients and ethanol may cause staining and reduced moisture permeability.
The specifications (logo position, colour, pattern position, etc.) may differ slightly from those of this product as the manufacturer's images are used.
