It’s especially recommended for those with a slender build.Like the TSURUGI JACKET, it features a strategic combination of two types of “Täsmä” fabric.The main body features “Täsmä” made from supple 50-denier stretch nylon, while critical areas prone to stress—such as the shoulders and waist—are reinforced with the same high-strength mechanical stretch nylon “Täsmä” used in the TB JACKET, enhancing strength and durability.

■FEATURES
・Angled Ventilation
The wide ventilation openings extending from the chest to the sides are a feature inherited from the TB JACKET. Since they do not restrict movement at the shoulders and elbows, they are easy to open and close while providing excellent ventilation.

・Ensuring Range of Motion
Minimal cutting ensures an ideal fit and range of motion. Designed for climbing in snowy mountains and rocky ridges, it maximizes shoulder mobility.

・Hood Design
This hood is designed for use with a helmet. The cohesive stopper at the back of the head allows for one-step adjustment of the vertical fit around the face and the lateral fit at the temples.

・Pocket
In response to user requests, we've added a zippered pocket to the upper left arm. It's convenient for storing items such as IC lift tickets.

・Inner mesh pocket
An inner mesh pocket with a wide opening. It’s perfect for storing wet items or hiking gloves, and allows them to dry using your body heat while you’re on the move.

・Cuff Design
Designed with alpine climbing in mind, the cuffs are narrower than those on the TB JACKET. They don’t bunch up and won’t get in the way when you need to use your hands.

・Cohesive Stopper
The hem and hood are adjustable with drawstrings. The cohesive stoppers are fixed in place, so you can tighten the drawstring by pulling it, and to loosen it, simply press the button to expand it—all with a single touch.

・25-26 FW Update
The hem and hood cuffs are now aligned with the outer fabric, and the construction has been changed from sewing to heat-sealing. This not only creates a simpler look but also improves durability by eliminating surface stitching.

・"Tasma" Fabric Logo (3 Layers)
The vertical lines represent breathability, while the horizontal lines represent the multi-layered structure. This logo is featured on “Tasma,” TETON BROS.’s proprietary waterproof-breathable fabric that combines high breathability with waterproof performance.

■Maintenance Instructions
・While machine washing is possible, we recommend hand washing (by gently pressing the fabric).
・Use a mild detergent; do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener ingredients can reduce water repellency).
・Please close all zippers and Velcro fasteners before washing.
・Please rinse at least twice.
・Do not use the spin cycle on your washing machine, as it may damage the fabric or cause the machine to malfunction.
・Do not tumble dry or dry clean
・After washing, reshape the item immediately and hang it to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area.
・If the water-repellent properties have diminished, iron the item using a pressing cloth (on the low-temperature setting).

■Material Description
This next-generation waterproof and breathable fabric was developed in collaboration with Toray. It features an ESP membrane created using an electrospinning process that involves layering multiple layers of microscopic polyurethane fibers. The interlocking mesh formed by these layers blocks moisture while allowing for physical breathability.That is why it is described as “breathable” rather than “moisture-permeable.” Another key feature is its soft, comfortable feel—hardly what you’d expect from a waterproof, breathable fabric. The outer fabric uses high-strength nylon, balancing durability with light weight. Thanks to mechanical stretch, it offers ample elasticity despite being made entirely of 100% nylon.The lining features a 20-denier knit backing with excellent moisture-wicking and quick-drying properties, combining a supple texture with high functionality to create a material that offers a well-balanced combination of high waterproofing and breathability.

■Handling Instructions
If you wash the item yourself, please use a neutral detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. Be sure to hand-wash the item and gently press it to clean it. Do not use the “hand wash” cycle on your washing machine.
After washing, be sure to rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue. Any remaining detergent will reduce the fabric’s water-repellency. (Since surfactants are substances that bind water and oil together, any detergent left on the fabric will significantly reduce the water-repellency of the fabric’s surface.)
The same applies when fine particles of dirt or other debris are trapped in the fabric’s surface; particles left in the fabric’s pores often cause a decrease in water repellency or allow water to penetrate. After rinsing, dry the item in the shade, and iron it while it is still slightly damp. Be sure to use a low heat setting and take care not to melt the fabric. Do not use a dryer.

Some products that have undergone special processing to enhance their functionality may have a slightly strong scent (odor) from water-repellent agents or similar substances.
