First of all, we started by asking ourselves, “What do we wear the most throughout the year?”
The answer, quite simply, was the so-called nylon windshells, such as Patagonia’s Houdini Jacket and Arc’teryx’s Squamish Jacket.
However, since many of these items—while primarily designed to function as outerwear—were either too tight-fitting or made of fabric lacking body, making them look frumpy and difficult to style, even when worn around town, we aimed to create a windshell that could be worn like a shirt—a jacket-like piece that strikes a balance between a softshell and a jacket, approached from a new perspective.
While the base design is simple, the generous body width and silhouette that flares toward the hem, combined with the wide sleeves that curve gently from the elbow toward the cuff, create a unique sense of balance.
While you can wear the wide hem as is, you can also use the elastic and adjuster at the hem to cinch it tightly, tuck the hem inside, and shorten the length to create a rounded balloon silhouette.
At first glance, it looks like a standard raglan sleeve, but it incorporates traditional tailoring techniques and reimagines the classic Balmacan coat pattern to allow for greater freedom of movement.
We’ve created a three-dimensional silhouette by intricately interweaving inward and outward curves.
As a result, we were able to minimize the difficulty in raising one’s arms—a common issue with jackets that are wide in the body—and dramatically improve the range of motion, particularly when moving the arms forward and backward.
The angled pocket is designed with a significantly wider opening and larger capacity to allow for smooth and direct access.
The fabric is 100% nylon, a sheer ripstop material. It is an ultra-thin fabric weighing 42 g/m².
This fabric strikes a good balance between allowing just the right amount of airflow and providing protection. It’s breathable, so you won’t feel stuffy even when wearing it for extended periods; it doesn’t cling to your skin even when you sweat, and it dries quickly. It’s a versatile, easy-to-use fabric that offers a sense of stability.

Cancellation of orders

Returns and exchanges
