■Care methods and precautions.
Fabric softener and bleach cannot be used.
Hand wash or put in a laundry net and turn in fashionable washing or hand wash mode.
No dryer or dry-cleaning.
The fabric is vulnerable to snagging on sharp objects, so please be careful when bushwalking.

Easier to use thanks to improved pattern and reduced weight to 28g.
Changed to a two-piece design for easier jawing.
Lightweight and highly breathable due to the mesh fabric, yet with high warmth retention.
Less steamy when worn during action, reducing the number of times it has to be put on and taken off.
Lightweight and compact, it is useful not only in spring, autumn and winter, but also as an extra layer of warm clothing for summer mountain traverses.

Adoption of recycled materials
Octa fabric is composed of two types of fibres: polyester woolly fibres and polyester hollow octopus foot section fibres.
Of this, 53.6% of the woolly yarn is replaced by recycled polyester (ECOPET), reducing the environmental impact.
46.4% will be regular polyester hollow octopus foot cross section yarn.
This recycling process reduces CO2 emissions* by 23% during fabric production by using the same material of recycled polyester compared to OctaCPCP of virgin polyester. (*Teijin Frontier Co. CO2 emissions from raw materials (polymer) to fabric shipment).

What is OctaCPCP?
OctaCPCP, a mesh fleece material with a mesh surface and deformed cross-section hollow polyester bristled fibres integrated into the mesh material on the front which serves as thermal insulation.
A polyester fabric characterised by its lightness, warmth and good heat release. Normally used as a lining, STATIC has adopted it as a stand-alone fleece.

Lightweight: about one-half the weight of polyester fibres of the same diameter.
Sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties: one-half the weight of polyester fibres of the same diameter.
Thermal barrier: Dead air in the space between the hollow and the eight prongs provides a thermal barrier effect.

■Environmental
From autumn/winter 2023, we have become the first company in the industry to use 53% recycled material.
Recycled polyester reduces CO2 emissions during fabric production by 23% compared to OctaCPCP made from virgin polyester.
Made from fabrics produced at OEKO-TEX-certified (*) factories in Japan.
The dyeing process for fabrics uses biomass (derived from plants) instead of petroleum to reduce CO2 emissions.
Cutting waste from the product manufacturing process is not incinerated but recycled as new fabric.
Brand, size tag and quality label: 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles.
