The slimmest and most versatile of the TETON BROS. outer shells. Climatic is a coined word combining climbing, climates and automatic. Versatile and durable, it is suitable for all activities in the snowy mountains, from alpine climbing, ice climbing, climb & ride to snowy mountaineering. It is especially recommended for people with a slender body shape. The materials are mapped in the same two types of 'Täsmä' as in the TSURUGI JACKET. The main body is made of supple 50 denier stretch nylon 'Täsmä', while critical areas such as shoulders and waist, which are easily stressed, are made of the same high-strength mechanical stretch nylon 'Täsmä' as the TB JACKET to increase strength and durability.

■FEATURES
Angle ventilation
The large ventilation openings from the chest to the sides are inherited from the TB JACKET. It does not oppose the movement of the shoulder and elbow joints, so it is easy to open and close, and has a high ventilation effect.
Ensuring range of movement
Minimal cutting for ideal fit and range of motion. Maximum shoulder range of motion for climbing snow and rocky ridges.
Hood structure
Hood design for wearing a helmet. Cohesive stopper at the back of the head allows vertical adjustment in the face area and lateral adjustment from the temple area in one action.
Pocket.
In response to user requests, a zippered pocket has been added to the left upper arm, useful for IC lift tickets etc.
Inner mesh pocket
Inner mesh pocket with wide opening. Ideal for storing wet items or hiking gloves, which can be dried by body heat during action.
Cuff specifications
The cuffs are narrower than those of the TB JACKET for use in alpine climbing. They are not drab and do not get in the way when using the hands.
Cohesive stopper
The hem and hood are adjustable with drawcords. The cohesive stopper is fixed, allowing one-touch adjustment: just pull the cord when squeezing and press the button to spread it out when releasing.

The folded hems and hoods are aligned with the outer fabric and have been changed from sewing to crimping. The appearance is simplified and at the same time durability is improved by eliminating surface stitching.
Tasma" fabric logo (3 layers).
Vertical lines represent breathability, horizontal lines represent multi-layer construction (layers). TETON BROS. logo used on Tasma, a unique waterproof and breathable material that is both highly breathable and waterproof.

■ Maintenance methods.
Washing in cold water using a washing machine is possible, but hand washing (push-washing) is recommended.
Use a neutral detergent and do not use fabric softener or bleach (detergents containing fabric softener ingredients may reduce water repellency).
Close all zippers and Velcro before washing.
Rinse at least twice.
Do not use the dehydration function of the washing machine as it may damage the fabric and the washing machine itself.
Tumbler drying and dry cleaning prohibited.
After washing, shape the garment immediately and hang it in the shade in an airy place.
If the water-repellent function deteriorates, iron (low temperature mode) using a cloth.
■ Material Description.
Next-generation waterproof and breathable material developed in collaboration with Toray. ESP membrane is made by electrospinning multiple layers of polyurethane fibres. The layers of microscopic mesh intercept moisture and allow physical ventilation. Therefore, it is not "breathable" but "breathable". Another feature is the softness and comfort that you would not expect from a waterproof breathable material. The outer fabric is made of high-strength nylon and is both durable and lightweight. The mechanical stretch provides sufficient elasticity despite being made of 100% nylon. The lining is a 20 denier knit backer with excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, which combines a supple texture with high functionality and a good balance between high waterproofness and breathability.
■Handling instructions.
When washing your own clothes, use a mild detergent. Never use fabric softener or bleach. When washing, always wash by hand and carefully press the garment. Do not use the hand wash course of a washing machine.
After washing, rinse thoroughly to ensure there is no detergent residue. Any detergent residue will reduce the water repellent properties of the fabric. (Surfactants are substances that bind water and oil together, so any detergent residue on the fabric will significantly reduce the water repellent function of the fabric surface.)
The same applies if the surface fabric is clogged with fine dust particles, etc. The particles that remain in the gaps between the fabrics often cause a reduction in water repellency and water penetration. After rinsing, hang the garment in the shade and iron it half-dry, but do so at a low temperature and be careful not to unravel the fabric. Do not use a dryer.
