The outdoor clothing and active insulation category has expanded rapidly in recent years.
Mainly foreign brands were the first to develop products.
One such active insulation padding material was TEIJIN Octa CPCP, a lightweight material with high warmth retention.

■Environmental
From autumn/winter 2023, we have become the first company in the industry to use 53% recycled material.
Recycled fabrics reduce CO2 emissions during fabric production by 23% compared to OctaCPCP made from virgin polyester.
Made from fabrics produced at OEKO-TEX-certified (*) factories in Japan.
The dyeing process for fabrics uses biomass (derived from plants) instead of petroleum to reduce CO2 emissions.
Cutting waste from the product manufacturing process is not incinerated but recycled as new fabric.
Brand, size tag and quality label: 100% recycled polyester from plastic bottles.

Oeko-Tex is the world's highest level of safety certification for over 350 hazardous substances, far exceeding Japanese safety standards, as well as certification of sustainable factories that take into account the impact on people involved in production and the environment.

Lightweight: about one-half the weight of polyester fibres of the same diameter.
Sweat-absorbing and quick-drying properties: one-half the weight of polyester fibres of the same diameter.
Thermal barrier: Dead air in the space between the hollow and the eight prongs provides a thermal barrier effect.

- Looser below the knee than conventional Adrift Pants.
- The hems are made of binder tape, so they are easier to roll up.
- Hand pockets with raised surfaces on both sides for hand warming.
- Brand name on the back waist, which is less visible.
- The lining is brushed to provide excellent heat retention.
- Lightweight and just the right amount of warmth for easy carrying as year-round warm clothing.
- Hand pockets for wearing it as indoor clothing, including when staying in tents or mountain huts.
- Vulnerable to bushwalking and other snagging.
