Made from a yarn of fine wool and recycled polyester cross-twisted. This tank top combines the quick-drying and durable properties of polyester with the feel of wool.

Quick-drying and durable in wool.
Wool has excellent natural thermal and odour control properties. This is due to the scaly "scale" structure on the surface of the wool. Polyester, a synthetic fibre, on the other hand, has quick-drying and durable functions that are compatible with sports and outdoor activities.
DRY WOOL TANK combines the benefits of wool and polyester in this tank top. It absorbs sweat and dries quickly, even during high-intensity exercise. The polyester filaments also increase robustness and allow for longer use.
In addition, the shoulders were designed to be thick enough to prevent the shoulder belt of the backpack from touching the skin for use in mountaineering and trail running.

Yarns that don't sacrifice feel NIKKE AXIO
The DRY WOOL T-SHIRT is not simply made from a wool-polyester blend. NIKKE AXIO" is a special yarn made by twisting polyester filaments so that they are wrapped inside wool fibre bundles. In this way, the functionality of the polyester is contained, while the feel of the wool and the scales of the wool fibres are maximised.

Sustainability initiatives
NIKKE AXIO, recycled polyester.
HERENESS had been looking at the functionality of NIKKE AXIO before its launch and was considering commercialising it. However, at the time, NIKKE AXIO only existed in virgin polyester, so we gave up using it. We continued to ask for the filament to be made from recycled polyester, and with the cooperation of NIKKE, we were finally able to use NIKKE AXIO in recycled material. We plan to expand our range of wool x recycled polyester products using NIKKE AXIO in the future.

The choice of non-mule merino wool.
Wool is a gift from sheep. If those sheep were suffering, would you be willing to accept that gift? All the wool we use in our t-shirts and socks is New Zealand merino wool. New Zealand has made a national decision to ban mulesing (the process of cutting out the buttocks of sheep). As a wool brand, we are committed to addressing animal welfare issues on an ongoing basis.
