A medium-weight (200–205 g/m²) merino pullover.
With the soft feel unique to 100% merino wool, powerful natural odor-neutralizing properties that keep you odor-free even after wearing it for days, and temperature- and humidity-regulating features that keep you “cool in summer and warm in winter,” this garment ensures comfort in any situation. Plus, with its simple design that blends seamlessly into both mountain and city settings, once you put it on, you might find it hard to find a good reason to take it off.
Plus, it’s safe to put in the dryer (up to 60°C), so be sure to take it with you on long trips.
■ Raglan sleeves for easy arm movement
The raglan sleeves allow for a wide range of motion at the shoulders and make it easy to move your arms. The garment features a flat, clean finish characterized by triple-needle cover stitching. The neckline is crafted from highly stretchy ribbed fabric.
■The Need for Ribs
・The ribbed cuffs keep your wrists warm like simple wrist warmers, preventing body heat from escaping and outside air from entering. You can also roll them up to effectively cool down your wrists.
・Since the abdomen and lower back are particularly susceptible to the cold, the ribbed hem adds thickness to enhance warmth.

Yama to Michi 100% Merino prioritizes moisture absorption over quick-drying properties and thermal insulation over cooling; while it dries more slowly than synthetic base layers, it minimizes the chill caused by the latent heat of vaporization when moisture evaporates, thereby reducing the risk of body temperature dropping when the garment gets wet from sweat or rain.

■Precautions for Use
・About the Hydrophilic Finish on 100% Merino Wool
While many merino wool fabrics are treated with a water-repellent finish during the manufacturing process, 100% Merino is treated with a hydrophilic finish to wick away sweat more quickly.
However, the wax applied to the yarn during the production process to improve knitting efficiency may not dissolve completely during the washing step in the finishing process, so the fabric may repel water when it is unwashed because the hydrophilic treatment has not taken effect.
Even if the hydrophilic finish isn't fully effective at the time of purchase, washing the item 2–3 times at home will remove any remaining wax, allowing it to absorb water quickly.
・Using the Dryer
You can use the dryer on a low-temperature cycle (maximum 60°C). However, since this can cause the fabric to pill or shed fibers, please avoid using it too frequently. If moisture evaporates while the fabric is folded or wrinkled, the wrinkles will set once the garment cools. Therefore, do not use a laundry net; instead, dry the garment on its own or in a machine with ample space. Remove the garment promptly after drying.
*Note: Using a dryer will shorten the garment's length by 1–2 cm, but this can be corrected by washing it again and hanging it to dry.

Merino wool can become prone to moth damage if body oils build up. Please wash it regularly.
When storing the item, please use moth repellents and take measures to seal it tightly to prevent insect infestation.
Since Yama to Michi's 100% merino wool fabric is resistant to shrinkage, it can be washed in a washing machine using a "delicate cycle" or similar setting designed to gently wash delicate garments with a gentle water flow.
Regular detergents remove too much of the natural oils found in wool, which can cause the dye to run and lead to color fading. When washing, please use a neutral detergent designed for delicate fabrics.
