Thinner, lighter 5-Pocket Shorts
The Light 5-Pocket Shorts, the lightest shorts in the Yama-Michi range, have a shorter length for ease of movement when running or fastpacking, and flat straps instead of tape for waist adjusters to keep the waist area tidy.
However, we have often received requests for light 5-pocket shorts with a longer length from people who want lightweight shorts but feel uncomfortable with their short length, so we decided to make them available as made-to-order shorts.
The 5-Pocket Shorts Light is made from the same thin, lightweight Pertex Equilibrium fabric as the Light 5-Pocket Shorts, with the same design as the 5-Pocket Shorts (slightly longer length and waist adjuster).

The measurement is taken without stretching the elastic at the waist.
Measured at the widest part of the waist when the garment is laid flat.
There may be differences between actual and stated dimensions due to fabric stretch and sewing errors.
Dimensions will change over time due to fabric shrinkage caused by wearing and washing.
■ Product care
Washing should be carried out at a water temperature of 40°C or less.
Washing should be carried out alone or in a net.
Hang-dry in the shade.
Use the dryer on a low temperature setting (upper limit 60°C).
Do not use fabric softener or bleach.
Ironing should be done at low temperature, without steam.
Do not dry clean.
- May shrink at high temperatures.
