DF Mesh Merino is a base layer series made from Yama-Do's original fabric, which solves the shortcomings of conventional 100% merino wool, such as difficulty in drying, stickiness when wet and heat retention at a high level.
The two-layer (DF = Double Face) mesh construction with a hydrophobic finish on the skin surface to keep water away and a hydrophilic finish on the surface to absorb water reduces discomfort from perspiration and can be used actively in high-impact activities such as trail running and fastpacking as well as hiking.
The mesh structure of the fabric is highly breathable, while the mesh has the natural benefits of wool, such as a comfortable feel, deodorant and moisture control properties, and prevents heat build-up, while the layered shell provides warmth, and even if you sweat, the point contact reduces discomfort and dries more quickly than conventional wool.
To take advantage of the properties of the highly elastic fabric, which follows even intense movements without stress, a slim-fit pattern has been adopted to keep sweat on the skin surface.
