Static Joint Vision Tea Chipka and Pukchika

These recyclable, sustainable T-shirts are made from cutting waste from the production of STATIC's ADRIFT series, which is then re-converted back into polyester yarn.
Conventionally, the cuttings are incinerated as industrial waste, but STATIC spins the cuttings into yarn after turning them into wadding. Unlike so-called chemical recycling, STATIC does not go through the process of chemical treatment to make polyester chips, so the fibres of the original shavings are included in the yarn as they are, in a simple production process. The yarn is not dyed and the colours of the raw materials are used as they are.
In order to ensure the quality of the yarn for clothing, 30% of the shavings/recycled yarn is combined with 70% recycled polyester from plastic bottles. Although the yarn is 100% "recycled polyester", the highest content is currently 30% shavings/recycled yarn.
VisionT is a sustainable product that embodies our stated goals of 'no waste', 'recycling raw materials' and 'no throw away apparel'.
*No water-absorbing, quick-drying or UV-protection treatment is added.
■DESIGN
This time we asked illustrators "Chipka and Pukchika", who are active in Shinshu, to draw an illustration using the motif of the STATIC logo, the koak albatross. He drew a number of beautiful illustrations, all of which were hard to throw away, so we ended up printing four different types of illustrations, which was unplanned.
In the Inadani region of Shinshu, I work alone in a small atelier shop from design to sewing.
The fabrics are carefully made in various parts of Japan and Asia, sometimes hand-dyed and hand-printed with illustrations by TO (tomohito komatsu).
I make each piece of clothing with the idea that it will look even better after 10 years of wear than when I bought it, and that I will nurture it together with the person wearing it.

Fabric softener and bleach cannot be used.
Hand wash or put in a laundry net and turn in fashionable washing or hand wash mode.
