In recent years, the outdoor wear and active insulation category has rapidly expanded.
Mainly overseas brands have been leading product development. Among such active insulation padding materials is TEIJIN Octa CPCP, a material with lightweight and high heat retention.
STATIC chose to use Octa CPCP, usually a nylon lining material, as a single layer.
Products from brands developed in high-altitude, dry climates pack Octa CPCP in nylon, making them heavy and difficult to layer in Japan, where carrying insulation wear is common.
Honeycomb-shaped brushed grid structure
Improved the low durability of the mesh surface, which was a weakness of Octa CPCP used in conventional ADRIFT.
Since it is no longer mesh, high breathability is ensured by making the brushed back surface a honeycomb grid structure.
