The lining is made of a single layer of heat-retaining material, OCTACPCP.
The outdoor wear and active insulation categories have expanded rapidly in recent years.
Mainly overseas brands have been leading the way in product development. One of the filling materials for active insulation is TEIJIN Octa CPCP, which is lightweight and has high heat retention.
At STATIC, we chose to use a single layer of Octa CPCP, a lining material that is usually made of nylon.
The reason for this is that products from brands that develop in high altitude, dry climates are packed in nylon, which makes the Octa CPCP heavy and makes it difficult to layer in Japan, where people often need to carry thermal clothing.
Honeycomb brushed grid structure
We have improved the low durability of the mesh surface, which was a weakness of the Octa CPCP used in previous ADRIFT models.
It is no longer mesh but has a brushed underside with a honeycomb grid structure to ensure high breathability.
