STATIC proposes natural materials for layers that touch the skin, avoiding petroleum-derived fibers as much as possible.
Merino wool is warm in winter and releases heat in summer.
For outdoor use, it is a highly functional fiber with not only heat retention but also moisture control, deodorizing properties, and a pleasant texture.
The new GRID series creates areas for heat retention & moisture control and areas where heat escapes by making the thick wool itself into a grid structure with unevenness, achieving the functions required for mountain activities.
By enabling heat release even during activity, it overcomes the weaknesses of 100% wool and achieves better heat retention than synthetic blends.
The grid fabric is a very rare structure realized by the high technology of Italy's REDA company. The fabric weight is 270g/m2, recommended as a winter base layer or as a single layer in fine autumn and spring weather. The wool's water repellency is also highly maintained, demonstrating its full capability in mountain activities where light wetting is possible, such as snowy mountains or early season streams.
