■Manufacturer's Description
An alpine sack that balances lightness, toughness, and comfort at a high level.
〇Multi-fabric
The main material is tough 1000 denier nylon, expressing an homage to the good old heavy-duty products of the 80s with a heathered nylon texture and unique color.
It is resistant to abrasion on rocky areas such as granite, common in Japanese mountain regions, and is made from a durable material that can also handle side attachments like skis in winter.
Dyneema X Gridstop, which is resistant to tearing, is used on the front panel and harness parts that frequently experience friction and interference with ice axes and crampons in winter.
Lightweight, strong, and highly waterproof X-PAC is used on the bottom and roll-top parts, which are prone to abrasion and frequent wetting. Rather than pursuing production efficiency alone, the material selection was made with a suitable material for each location, resulting in this multi-fabric conclusion.
〇Daisy Chain
RawLow Mountain Works backpacks feature a distinctive daisy chain.
This is an iconic part imbued with respect for the great climbers of the past, but it also reflects our desire for users to expand and use it in various ways according to their own image.
Gear loops and axe holders are actively retained where necessary, not just for weight reduction.
〇Inner Pad
For invisible parts such as the back pad and shoulder harness inner pads, we repeatedly test and select materials suitable for a carrying comfort that satisfies us.
It may feel a little firm at first, but it is designed to reduce fatigue on long hikes and to adapt to the body with use.
Our goal was a backpack that does not make you feel the actual weight. The carrying comfort of a backpack changes dramatically depending on the balance of harness design, attachment position, and compatibility with the inner pad.
We believe that no matter how much the base weight is reduced, if this balance is lost, it defeats the purpose.
Also, we are particular about designing the beautiful appearance of the shoulder harness when the backpack is taken off.
