When used in conjunction with the removable "bar", the pear-shaped carabiner "Attache" becomes a highly versatile tool.
The anti-reverse feature distributes the load along the longitudinal axis, making it ideal when using the rope for belaying or glacier walking.
The H-section frame makes it lightweight, and the rounded, smooth basket shape allows the rope to flow smoothly, making it ideal for belaying with the Verso, Reverso, and Munter hitches.

The removable "bar" distributes the load longitudinally, making it ideal for belaying and using ropes on glacier walks.
This reduces misuse as the "bar" cannot be closed when the gate is not fully locked - if the "bar" is set in the closed position, the lock cannot be released accidentally.
