The ELEMENTUM PACK 50L has been updated from X-PAC to ECOPAK EPX200 as the material fabric.

ECOPAK EPX200 is a material developed by Challenge Outdoor, the company famous for the development of the ULTRA 200. The fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester from recycled plastic bottles and is treated with C0 DWR. As the name of the material suggests, the fabric is eco-friendly.

Polyester is slightly less lightweight than nylon, but is more durable, absorbs less moisture, and has better UV resistance and colour retention.
The exterior is laminated with CrossPly (X-PAC's X-PLY is trademarked, so the company Challenge Outdoor calls it CrossPly), just like 'X-PAC', and has a very similar construction.

The design of the ELEMENTUM PACK is very simple, beautiful and lean. The roll-top opening makes it easy to take out and adjust to suit the packing volume. The sub-pockets are also very easy to use and can be easily accessed while the backpack is on your back.

Updates include a detachable load lifter and additional strap loops on the bottom of the backpack to secure heavy items such as ice axes, trekking poles, etc.

The word 'ELEMENTUM' comes from the Latin word 'BASIS', meaning 'basics'. Mountaineering, trekking, travelling. Backpacks are the basics that are always necessary, and the meaning is that they are indispensable as the beginning of everything.
