Black Diamond's lightest helmet, the Vapor, has been renewed.
The 2023 model changes the foam material from the conventional EPS to lightweight and elastic EPP.
Only the crown, which receives impact, combines polycarbonate and EPS, and further reinforces strength by sandwiching the ALUULA reinforcement material.
This achieves a light weight of 170g (S/M, measured value) while clearing the strict strength standards of UIAA.
Also, the chin strap is now adjustable, improving the fit.
