It looks like a simple round-neck cardigan, but it's actually a light and fluffy active insulation that combines a highly breathable shell with a moderately warm lining.
Teijin Octa is an innovative polyester material that is approximately half the weight of polyester fibers of the same diameter. The hollow space at the center of the fiber and eight protrusions arranged radially on its surface not only quickly absorb and disperse sweat, but also traps a lot of dead air in the spaces created by its unique shape, providing a heat-insulating, insulating effect.
It works well as active insulation on mountain passes in cold seasons, providing moderate warmth while allowing sweat to escape, and as insulation to prevent sweat from cooling you down when walking along old roads in warm seasons.If you slip it into the gaps in your backpack, it can be used for various purposes all year round.
