Hot and humid summer synogogues require active layers with features that can support physical performance and strength to withstand synogogues.
Hachijuhachiya was developed for this purpose, and Hachijuhachiya uses a hybrid material designed to have merino wool on the skin surface and polyester on the surface.
The predecessor to this material has been in use since 2015, and the current Hachijuhachiya material was made lighter in 2019 with the help of a material manufacturer.
Since then, we have continued to use that material for Hachiju Hachiya because of its ability to handle perspiration, odour resistance, strength and lightness. It is hard to find a material with such a good balance, and after years of use we have come to know it well.
