The Vanish Carbon is a racing shoe based on ALTRA's signature zero-drop and foot-shape toe box, with a super resilient midsole and integrated carbon plate.
The carbon plate, which in previous models was placed only in the forefoot, is now placed over the entire length of the shoe.
This promotes further propulsion and natural forward motion, yet is lightweight, flexible and stable.
Flexibility is improved by 75% and stability by 14%.
It also continues to use the ALTRA EGO PRO midsole, which provides high resilience and energy efficiency.
Cushioning has been improved by 32% by increasing the stack height from 33 mm to 36 mm from the previous model.
The Vanish Carbon 2, with its innovative 'high resilience midsole' and 'carbon plate' combination, is designed to help runners unlock their potential and evolve to the next level.
