We have tried to balance these conflicting demands on a new dimension, different from existing tents.
When the weight of the materials was calculated in the re-initial stages of development, it soon became clear that it was essential to use tent poles that were lighter in weight than in strength.
The question of using lighter tent poles while ensuring the strength of a mountain tent - a question with no easy answers - was foreseen.
The answer, arrived at through the wisdom of his experience as an engineer, was a truss structure with a unique sleeve hub structure and guy lines.
The sleeve hub is a revolutionary construction that combines the strength advantages of both sleeve and suspended systems, which conventional tents have had to choose between.
This is further combined with a truss structure using guy lines, which allows the tent to be strengthened according to the weather conditions.
We have also developed our own ideas to make the comfort as important as the strength of the vehicle.
The depth of the main Japanese-brand mountain tents, which are considered to be for two people, is measured to be less than 120-127 cm, but the tent is generously sized at 133 cm.
Together with a width of 210 cm and a height of 102 cm, it provides a spacious area.
In addition to its living room space, the unique rear space is also available as a gear storage area, providing unencumbered space for a two-person mountain tent.
Despite this level of performance and comfort, it achieves a minimum weight of just 1080g.
It has one of the largest floor areas available for a two-person mountain tent.
(Equipment weight is 1225 g, except for the included groundsheet, which weighs 113 g and is not included in the equipment weight).
The product includes the tent itself, flysheet, pegs and poles, as well as a groundsheet.
