0Thoughts and creations
As a matter of fact, in sinogging, it is not common to wear clothing to outweigh the rain. This is because, even if it is to beat the rain, acting in physical membranes will undoubtedly cause steaming and wetting due to perspiration. Rainwear that claims to be slightly breathable is nowadays available, but this does not seem to have solved these problems. It is easy to imagine that even highly breathable shells without a waterproof breathable coating cannot release sweat instantly. Even so, in some situations it may be necessary to wear clothing to protect you from the rain. The Taviglass was conceived as a garment that would make sweating as uncomfortable as possible in such situations. It is more like a curtain covering your body and backpack than a garment. The rain poncho is similar to this, but the design was inspired by the simpler roadside coats used by travelling crows to protect themselves from the wind and rain.
Heartland
This is the ultimate jacket that Ryo has been pursuing, which can protect you not only from the rain, but also from the wind and cold. Please note that it is sized for the 40L-50L backpacks most commonly used for sinogging and will not fit smaller backpacks such as those used for general hiking. The Taviglass is not closed off like most rainwear, but completely covers the body and backpack. The front opening is a snap button rather than a watertight zip, which may allow rain to penetrate under certain circumstances, but this is also designed to surpass, i.e. the idea of "knowing how much is enough". This snap-button opening allows for adjustable ventilation and easy access to topographical maps, which are frequently taken in and out to check your current position, or a camera to record your synogging. Some may be concerned about the hoodless design, but a rain hat will suffice, as chinogging is defined as an area of woodland below the forest limit.
0 dressing
It also goes well with fluttering skirts such as the hakama skirt and futae pants, but here the kunai is best suited to the tatske, which is reminiscent of the appearance of a travelling crow. If the kunai gets caught in a strong wind, tie the corners of the back hem together in front of the stomach, or tie a loop with a thin drawstring. If you are worried about getting wet from the knees down, you can use a 'tsuyuharahi' together to provide more extensive protection from the rain. It can also be used as a large rug when unpacking at the villa.
